About This Park
The crown jewel of Newington's parks, Mill Pond Park spans 54 acres and features the famous Mill Pond Falls—promoted tongue-in-cheek as the 'smallest natural waterfall in the United States.' The 16-foot falls powered the town's original 1677 sawmill and appear on the Newington Town Seal. Amenities include a swimming pool, ADA accessible playground, clay tennis courts, basketball court, soccer field, concert pavilion, and fishing pond.
