About This Park
Newington's largest undeveloped natural land spans over 28 acres and features a 1-mile loop trail with 118 feet of elevation gain. The impressive summit overlook offers views of Farmington, West Hartford, Berlin, and Meriden. Protected by state conservation easement, this preserve was once home to Connecticut's first tuberculosis sanitarium (1911) and the Newington Children's Hospital.
