Newington High School

Founded in 1934 with the first graduating class in 1938, Newington High School moved to its current building in March 1971. Notable alumni include Bill Rodgers, four-time Boston and NYC Marathon winner, and the school yearbook 'The Sequin' is named after the Wangunk sachem who sold land to early settlers. Principal: Terra A. Tigno. Colors: Blue and Gold.
